Outline about Jean Watson

Background information   

Jean Watson created the theory of Transpersonal Care, where she told about 10 factors of care, that give us something instructions of how to take care.

This topic is very important to me because I think that at the future, when I will be a nurse I will like be a very good nurse, that listen to the patients, to respect them and that they trust in me, and this things she learned to us in her theory.

Purpose  

The purpose of my presentation is that in english we had to talk about the models of nursing, so I decided to make it about Jean Watson, because I think that she is an important nurse, who created the theory of Transpersonal Care.

Methods/materials/subjects/procedures

At the class I learned something about she, and to complement I looked for information at the internet too.  

Results/findings

The most important of this theory is that Jean Watson humanized the care of nursing, giving more importance to the patient and not to the illness. She showed us how to take care with love and patience. 

Conclusions/implications for further research

I think that Jean Watson is a nursing that impacted my study, because of she I saw the nursing of another way, thinking that the persons must to be listened and respected for the professional.

Is very important give a Transpersonal care to the patients today, because of this way they could improve faster and better than without this treatment.
